"Success is never owned, it's just rented, and the rent is due every day." ~Eddie Alvarez, MMA

Am here with Ricky Bobby, race car driver. Hey, it was a big win for you today, but it seems that you either win or you crash your cars trying to win.

Well, Dick here's the deal, I'm the best there is just plain and simple–I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence. Can't nobody touch that shit! Just rock this–you can't stop this–try and clock this–America likes the way we swing.

Now that type of confidence comes from being the best. It takes hard work and sacrifice, which most people are not willing to do.

There is nothing more powerful than a changed mind. You can change your job, the make & model of your car, your clothing, your address, your spouse–but if you don't change your mind, you will get the same results over and over again–because you can't change the outside and expect things to be different without first changing your mind.

When you look at a bodybuilder, do you think he was born with muscles and a six pack? No, of course not, it took many hours of training, repetition, and lifting weights in a gym. And that's what you have to do with your mind–you must train and condition it to be strong and never give up, never.

I went to sleep on a cloud and woke up in the dirt. Then I heard a still Voice that said, "Get up! It's not over, never give up, never."

I want you to know one thing. Your biggest enemy is you. You have to train your mind to win. You are in a fight against an opponent you can't see–but you can feel them on your heels, can't you? You can feel them breathing down your neck. You know what that is? That's you, your fears, doubts, and insecurities standing tall like Goliath–ready to shred you to pieces. Don't expect any encouragement or support from people you know, you're in this battle all by yourself. Your friends and family–forget them, they don't believe you can do it. This is your dream, not theirs. Your attitude determines your altitude. The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. If you're down and out, act like you never lost. Get up and win like you're Ronda Rousey. Take no days off–Grind–Hustle–Work. The loser never gets back up. Losers lose. Winners win–they get back up and try it again and again. They never quit. There's no excuse not to be the hardest fucking worker in the room. You're not a good writer because you don't fucking write enough. You're not a good singer because you don't fucking sing enough. You're not a good athlete because you don't fucking practice enough. You're not an asset to your company because you don't do anything to make yourself fucking valuable. When 5 o'clock comes–you're gone. I don't care what you do. You're not good at what you do because you don't fucking practice enough. Talent is natural, but skill is developed by hours and hours of working on your craft. You must practice every day if you want to be good. What do you want to be remembered for? You want to be successful, then GRIND. FIGHT. BE A FIGHTER. BE THE BEST. Whatever you want, never give up, never. FIGHT. Dream. Dream Hard. Then FIGHT for what you want. When you get knocked down get your ASS up and keep FIGHTING. HUSTLE when everyone else is sleeping. OUT WORK and OUT THINK your opponent. Work 7 days a week, take no days off–don't eat, don't sleep. Let them eat, let them sleep. Work harder–work smarter than everyone. You're already broke and already in pain–don't give up–get your reward. People will tell you that you can't do it–that it's impossible. Don't listen to them–DO IT anyway. The graveyard is filled with unfilled dreams, ideas, inventions, that people never tried. Dreams and ideas come to you for a reason and if you don't do something with them, then they'll go to the next person who will. What if you knew you were dying, what would you do differently? We all are going to die, it doesn't matter whether it's today, tomorrow or next year–what matters is what are you going to do with your life? If it was easy then everybody would be doing it. If you are willing to do the work, you can achieve anything–wake up early and work late. It can be done. But nobody's ever done it before? So WHAT! That means that you can be the first person to do it. When you want to succeed in life more than you want to breathe then you'll succeed. You don't need an alarm clock, let your dreams wake you up. Think like you're already famous. See yourself driving around in a Testarossa. Hear them scream–Who the fuck is that guy? Champions are not born–they're made. You don't beg average people to be great, you don't beg people that are great to be phenomenal. Life is hard and will knock you down. Adversity makes you strong, not weak. If you're not where you want to be it has nothing do with the system. Stop blaming that person and the next for your mistakes. Take responsibility. No more excuses. Your parents let you get away with doing shit half ass. You might graduate from school doing things half ass–you might get through working on your job half ass, and you might get through life doing things half ass, but I guarantee that you won't be a winner doing things half ass. Greatness is doing a lot of small things and doing them well. You can have anything in life that you want if you're willing to do the work. Most people say they want to be successful but they are not willing to do what it takes to be the best. You've been waiting on the right time–there is no right time. Whatever you want to do, do it now. There are only so many tomorrows. There's no guarantee that you'll even be here. A lot of people think failure is a step backwards–but failure is a step forward in the right direction. Every time you fail you learn something, you gain something from it, it gets easier the more times you do it. Know what your strengths and what your weaknesses are. How bad do you want it? What do you love doing 7 days a week that gets you excited? You must step away from average–step away from 99% of the population if you want to succeed. Success requires all of you, every living piece of energy that you have–all your resources, all your money, all your time and all your focus. If it was easy everybody would do it. You have to want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe.
