Have you ever had a bright idea and never
acted on it, then later discovered that someone
else brought it into existence?

Then you need to read Hatching Twitter: A True Story of Money, Power, Friendship and Betrayal.

"No, you didn’t invent Twitter,” Ev replied. “I didn't invent Twitter either. Neither did Biz. People don’t invent things on the Internet. They simply expand on an idea that already exists.”

Bright ideas usually die off before they take physical form.

When they die, they only stop in the brain of the individual
and later springs forth in the mind of someone else that gives it life.

The Law of the Universe

There's One Universal Mind that supplies the
thoughts of all living creatures.

Now it doesn't matter whether you believe that premise or not,
Truth doesn't require that you believe for it to be true.

In this article, I will show you how to take an idea
from the invisible world (ether) into the physical universe.

So let's start with the 5 reasons.

1. Lack of Commitment
2. Lack of Financial Resources
3. Lack of Marketing
4. Lack of Key People
5. Lack of Technological Know-How

Commitment is the single most powerful reason that
gives your bright idea the fuel it needs to overcome
criticism and obstacles.

When you have commitment, the "how" part will follow.

So what is commitment?

It's a serious feeling of accomplishment that comes
from deep within the very soul of a person.

It's not something that can be obtained from reading a book,
or watching a Rocky movie; either you have it or not.

Don't Get it Twisted

Most people think being involved is the same as
being committed.

Well, there's a big difference.

The next time you eat breakfast; the eggs came
from a chicken that was involved, and the bacon came
from a pig that was committed and died so you could eat.

When you're committed, nothing stands in your way.

Napoleon was committed, he told his men to burn the ships,
either win or die.

Although faced with insurmountable odds, the “how”
followed their level of commitment to winning.

What could you do if you were 10 times bolder?

Commitment makes you 10 times bolder; to market your product; or cold call because you have something more valuable than any rejection, interruption, criticism, or obstacle.

Commitment helps find the financial resources and attracts the right people, and technology to bring the idea forth.

Jack Dorsey, Ev Williams, Biz Stone, and Dick Costolo describe how Twitter developed as people discover and use it to share real-time events, news, opinions, and fun. "You're not just broadcasting - you're there in the middle of it....Twitter gives every voice the ability to echo around the world instantly."
