Dear God,

Pretty words aren’t always true, and true words aren’t always pretty.

These are some dark times when the truth is hard to find

Thou who art above all else

I come to thee today with words to express.

For the world is in turmoil, with lies and deceit,

And the truth seems to be a difficult feat.

Oh Lord, I pray to thee to help people speak the truth,

For pretty words aren't always true, and truth not always smooth.

Thou knoweth the hearts of all, and their thoughts unspoken,

And thou art the only one who can heal the world that's broken.

Thou art the light in the darkness, the truth in the lies,

And only thy grace can help us to see through the disguise.

Oh God, let thy truth shine forth and dispel the darkness,

And help us to speak the truth with boldness and fearlessness.

For the truth is a precious gem that's often hard to find,

And many people these days are lost in a web of lies intertwined.

But with thy help, we can break free from the chains of deceit,

And let the truth guide our path in a world that's incomplete.

Oh Lord, I pray for those, who are struggling to speak the truth,

And for those who have been hurt, by lies that seemed uncouth.

Let them find solace in thy love and the truth that thou art,

And let them find courage, to speak the truth from their heart.

For pretty words may please the ears, but truth is what we need,

To build a world of trust and love where all can intercede.

So help us God, to speak the truth, even if it's not so pretty,

For in the end, it's the truth that sets us free and makes us feel so gritty.

Thou art the giver of all wisdom and the source of all truth,

And only in thee can we find the path that leads to sooth.

So guide us Lord, in all our ways, and help us to be true,

For in the end, it's only thy truth, that will see us through.

Oh God, I pray to thee with a heart full of love and trust,

And I know that with thy help, we can all speak the truth that's just.

For pretty words may please the ear, but truth is what we need,

And with thy grace, we can all speak the truth, in word and deed.

So thank you God, for hearing my prayer and for answering my call,

And for guiding us all, in a world that's oftentimes so small.

For thou art the light in the darkness, and the truth that we seek

Tell them God. We need your help. Tell them God, if they keep lying, they’re going to hell.

Tell those politicians to stop lying to the people and those racist people to stop being racists. The color of a person’s skin doesn’t matter. We are all the same.

God, tell those preachers to start preaching what you preach. Preach the truth.

Hey, you lawmakers stop cheating. Stop making laws to benefit you

Making the people suffer

Nobody is above the law

And God, show that man who thinks he’s king

Show him, show him, God

Who is the real King

Oh Lord, with thy help, we can all speak the truth and live a life full of joy.

Over to you now.

The Doomsday Clock remains at 100 seconds to midnight in 2022— the closest ever to apocalypse.

The farthest the clock has been from midnight was 17 minutes. That was in 1991.

And now … Armageddon the last battle between good and evil before the Day of Judgment.
