For the cat that found love

*

Unloved by its owners, it roamed

with no place to call home

it wandered aimlessly

Then I came along

and gave it food and water

a place to rest its head

i brought it inside, against house rules

Despite the risk, it seemed cool

The cat purred and rubbed against my leg

it was happy that it found a friend

But how can I keep it in my room

i'd face the risk of being homeless and soon

For the thought of eviction, I cannot take

it would look bad on my record for future sake

So, after two weeks, I let it go,

i’m sorry, dear friend, I can’t see you any more

go back to your owners

And I said goodbye to the cat that found love

i miss you, Moxxy with all my heart

Everyone needs to do their part to help stray animals. I tried to help. I did all I could.

it broke my heart to send it back to someone that didn't love it.
